The 2006 Southeastern Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (SEAFWA) Conference is a 4-day meeting providing a forum for critical information exchange affecting the management and protection of fish and wildlife resources throughout the southeast. The technical portion of this meeting consists of two days with nearly 100 presentations covering the biological, social, and economic aspects of fisheries and wildlife conservation. Over 30 work groups also meet to coordinate research and management. The Conference attracts nearly 800 biologists, enforcement agents, educators, and administrators representing state and federal agencies; university students and professors; natural resource consulting firms; private and non-profit companies; and other natural resource related organizations.
